When do I need to place my order/book custom work?

The answer to this question depends based on if your are ordering a semi-custom suite or booking for a fully custom suite.

Semi-Custom

We recommend ordering your semi custom suite 1-2 months prior to your preferred delivery date depending on your pieces & printing methods. You can find a detailed timeline at the bottom of our semi-custom guide.

Custom

Fully custom suites require you to book in advance. Because of the added design time I prefer to start working on these 3-4 months prior to your preferred delivery date. Please note it is recommended to book custom work in advance as I only have a limited number of spaces each month.

When do I need to send my save the dates/invitations?

Save the Dates should be sent 6-8 months prior to your wedding date. If you are having a lot of friends & family that need to travel or a destination wedding you should send these on the earlier side.

Invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. When sending your invitations remember to consider ship times and your reply by date. If you did not send save the dates you should send these on the earlier side.

How many invitation sets do I need to order?

When it comes to your wedding invitations it is important to count households instead of using standard head counts. You should always be sure to order extra (10-20 sets) to account for last second additions as well as keepsakes for yourself & your photographer. Please remember printing in small batches after proof approval&production is very costly. (letterpress requires a minimum order of 50 even when reordering.)

Can I have my order rushed?

Rush orders are handled on a per need basis. If you need a rush order processed please reach out to shorethingprints@gmail.com before making your purchase.

Can I add pieces to my order before production starts?

Absolutely! It is always best to add extra sets and pieces onto your order before production. Waiting until things are already in motion can be much more costly.

Do you ship internationally?
